The Choir of King’s College Cambridge
The Choir of King’s College Cambridge were reuniting with the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment for a one-off recording of Maurice Duruflé’s 1947 Requiem. To mark the event, we were invited to capture the final performance of the Four Motets.
As a staple of the Choir’s Easter repertoire, they chose the most famous of the four, Ubi Caritas, to feature in the film. We shot this music video on a very tight schedule one afternoon in Cambridge. Shooting in the candlelit chapel is always a treat, especially with a falling autumn sun.
