The Dark Mirror: Zender’s Winterreise

A short extract from ‘The Dark Mirror’, starring Ian Bostridge and directed by multimedia artist, Netia Jones, as she adapts Hans Zender’s startling orchestration for the stage in this theatrical production. After capturing Netia Jones’ production of Britten’s Curlew River in 2014 we were invited back to look into the Dark Mirror. We took a small, low profile camera crew into shoot at dress rehearsals before quickly turning around a set of performance excerpts for social media sharing the next day and a full multi-camera archive edit.
